The Share app can be used on both iOS (i.e. Apple) devices and Android devices. If your community is using resident and family logins on the Share app, users can also log into Share on the web using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
iOS Requirements
The Share app can be used on Apple devices running iOS version 11 or later. This allows the Share app to run on:
- iPhones - version 5s or later.
- iPads - iPad Air, iPad mini 2, or iPad 5th generation or later.
- iPod touch - 6th generation.
A full list of Apple devices that support iOS 11 can be viewed here. Generally speaking, iOS 11 can run on Apple devices released in September 2013 or later.
Android Requirements
The Share app can be used on Android devices running version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or later. Android version 4.1 was released in July 2012. Because of the variability between devices running Android, we recommend checking the version on your device using the steps outlined here. You can also use the steps there to update your Android version if possible.
